What years did the HE351 mech. wastgate come on the 3rd gens... if it did? thank you that is all

All the trucks from 04.5+ used it or a variation of it. All the HE351's have a mechanical WG, but, the control is electronic.

 

sorry to highjack but what amount of power is this turbo good for?

 

450-460 hp fuel only with good egts; around 1400. Pushing it you can go about 500 fuel only but egts start to get hot; around 1600 plus. If you search the various forums, some have made 570-600 but with water/meth or NOS. I can imagine what the drive prssures are though!
