I work for a Cat dealer as a heavy duty mechanic in British Columbia so I know the Cat fuel systems. If I had the problem you are describing which seems to indicate a leaking injector I would probably pull the injectors and check them for excessive leakage. If this truck does this every time you let it sit for any length of time the dealer should be able to diagnose it fairly well one would think. If it's under warranty I would get it in while its still on there bill.

No, I went and bought factory Bosch injectors. Found a place that would sell them to me at a cheap price with no core charge. After replacing them I sent the cores back.

I would have loved to had mine rebuilt with better tips but couldn't afford the down time. Need my vehicle to much.

I know the Formula1 injectors were recommended earlier in this thread but does anyone have any experience or knowledge on the Bully Dog ones?
