I agree but I am grasping at straws now for a solution. I think I will drop the tank this week and inspect all the hook ups and vents...for some reason I keep thinking theres a leak before the pump sucking in air. I may even run my own hose and fittings from the tank to the filter housing.

does it do this no matter how much or how little fuel is in the tank i know that sounds basic but have you noticed a difference i am not asking if your running out of fuel im wondering if there is a foriegn item in your tank i have encountered this before i.e celephane ??

It did it no matter what level. When we changed out to the Dodge in tank fuel pump assembly, we did not find any residue or foreign materials in the tank but that does not rule this out as the tech only visually inspected the tank.

Everything now is pointing towards the pressure relief valve in the CP3. I will be looking at that this week.
