I completely agree with this (now, after just having to try it myself). Will be wiring mine back up tonight. 33 degrees this morning and she had to crank a few times. Can't imagine what it would be like in colder weather. And I have a CEL from yesterday to boot. I'll take the intermittent battery/alternator drain and the slight restriction over hard starts and potential for increased wear any day.
