Got the tranny flushed today

I got discount coupons from my dealer in the mail last week and took advantage today of the engine oil & filter change coupon plus used the coupon for the transmission flush & oil change with 30k on the truck.

I don't know if this is wishful thinking or not, but has anyone else had the flush done and noticed that it seems like the transmission shifts more pronounced? I bought the truck used with 26k on it and got used to the way it drove until today, but sure seems like the transmission just feels like it shifts more solidly than before.

Also on another positive not, driving back home and noticed that where I always fuel up, the price was $1.84gal, so did a quick U turn and topped it off while it lasts.

Rick.

There are additives in the tranny fluid. Time and heat disipates them, that is why she shifts better with the fresh fluid. It was probably the original factory fluid in there.

I have been told to change my tranny fluid and filter every 15,000 miles, by 2 different non-dealer tranny/diesel shops. Our CTD's give our trannies a work out.
