Got my Break today

Called in to set-up the first oil change for the truck today and they just got my exhaust brake in. May be a little bit before I get it put in though, have the yellow truck in the garage right now with the rear end all tore out if it. One project at a time

Re:Got my Break today

I was wondering what the installed price of the exhaust brake is, if an individual did not order it when the price was less? What is the dealer charging for the unit and the installation?

Ken,

Best guess is around $1300. Seems they are wanting about $400 installation plus cost of brake. Many dealers give new buyers a good break on accessory costs - - mine does.

Bob

Re:Got my Break today

The way my dealer explained it to me was, order it with the truck and it is installed free. Buy it after the truck purchase and you pay to put it in.
My install was free, I ordered it when I bought my truck. I don't think my dealer is going to cheat himself out of anything he can get.
