Going to the dealer today...
As a few of you who have read and replied to my thread yesterday about my tranny indicator lamp being on two days after doing my exhaust install, I tried resetting my computer again and that didn't fix the problem
...cleaned the terminals, tightened them down, etc...tranny indicator lamp is still on. I SURE hope that this isn't going to become routine...5,623 miles and 5 months after purchasing a $50,000 dollar vehicle that had 3.2 miles on it the first time I laid eyes on her, we are going to the dealership to have work done.
I should have gone with the T56 like I wanted to in the first place...I had just been hearing good things about the 48RE and figured that since I am in San Diego for the time being, automatic would have been the way to go...I'll keep you all posted..
Derek

You mean G-56? (aka G-unnnnnnnnnnn it!)
Don't fret just yet buddy, the 48RE is probably the best auto dodge had seen to date. I'm sure it's something simple.
You sure you didn't bump loose a connector while you were doing the exhaust? (I didn't see your other thread, so excuse me if that was already said)

OOPS! Typo, my bust! Nah, no connectors were bumped loose...we were very careful during the install...simple unbolt and rebolt...guess we'll just have to see what the dealer says. They are going to hear a few things though if they try and tell me that "they are just too busy to look at the truck today"...I tried calling them at 5:30 this morning and the Dodge Service department at my dealership's answering machine was full so I couldn't leave them a message...Derek
