fuel filter removal

I am about to hook up my fuel pressure guage and change my filter. Could someone tell me how to get my fuel filter canister off before I start this? I like to be pepared and educated before starting my projects. Yeah I am that guy that reads the instructions beforehand.
Thanks in advance

once the fuel is drained out of the housing (yellow handle) then simply use a 1 1/8" wrench and loosen the cap and spin it off.. The filter is held in by clips on the top of the filter and pops off with a little persuation. Make sure to replace the o-ring when you do this and let the truck cycle the fuel pump a few times before you start it and wwwaaaalaaaaa! You are done... now just insert whatever you have to do to install your pressure gauge and you are done and smelling like fuel.... give the wife a kiss and call it a night!!

I hear ya on the kids too. I aint but 22 with one more semester of college. Same here on the workin for it I had my first truck (superduty) paid for before I went to college. So far I got the chip and a few other odds and ins but as soon as I graduate this truck is definately gettin a turbo, clutch, fass, cp3 and injectors. Get back with me after graduation, I maynot have a wife by then but I am shootin for the 5 bay shop.

I have had my share of women come and go, but I must say my truck aint let me down yet. Give me the sound of a turbo diesel and a good dog and who needs women, talk about expensive pets, I spent more on my last girlfriend than I did my dog and dodge combined.

(her blood runs green mine runs red) I told her I have a better investment in my tractor then her since I will get my money back from what I have invested in the tractor and the money and time I have invested in her I will never get back...
