Front hitch tongue weight capacity?

Anyone know what type of weight the front axle (non-snow plow prep...) can handle for occasional use in spotting a trailer from a front mounted receiver hitch? I don't much care what the various receiver ratings may be, as I'll just be building my own anyways. Just wondering if the frontend is capable of, say, 500 extra pounds a couple weekends a month to help me back my toy hauler into a tight parking slot beside the house.

I have one, and I have put plenty of weight on it. It won't hurt what you are doing.

The front receiver hitch on mine is rated for 500 lbs tongue weight. You will be fine with that amount
