front engine oil leak

front engine oil leak

i can't tell if it's the oil pan or above because the space is so thin. anyone have this issue or anything else like this?
btw she has 145k on her. well maintained

Mine is the same, pretty sure it is the front crank seal.

From what i have read it is a lengthy process, the whole front of the engine (accessories) has to be tore down.

Mine is just a weep so i will wait alittle before i tackle it.

I have to do oil pan and valve cover gaskets too, might just do them all at once.

Front crank seal requires removing fan clutch and pulley with belt and tensioner. I would install seal with wear sleeve since crank is most likely grooved from seal. Use mopar gray silicone for cover. Not too difficult but cleaning old silicone does take some time.
