Front end question
Front end question
Having never worked on front ends, but reading the stories of alignments resulting in death wobble, I have a question for Yall. I just put on a set of BFG ATs last month, and they have been wearing well, and I haven't had any issues for the last 1000 miles or so. This week I went to Louisiana and back, putting roughly 350 miles on the clock. When I got home I found the passenger side front tire starting to feather on the outside of the tread. could this indicate a toe in/out condition? I bought the truck with a 2" leveling kit already installed, and the tires that were on it were worn out, but they looked to be worn pretty evenly. They were 35/12.50/17, and I replaced them with 315/70/17s. The front end seems to be solid, although there is a persistent clunking sound whenever I hit a good size bump in the road.
I will be taking it to a shop for an alignment check Monday, and just wanted to know ahead what to tell them to look for. I definitely don't want them messing with my camber, because I don't have any DW issues and don't want any in the future.

Yes i believe the feathering is due to toe in/out.
i'm running the 35" BFG AT's and have 10K on them, just rotated them and the fronts are wearing on the inside, from what i can find it's a camber issue, i think it might be due to my ball joints???
