front driveshaft bolts

Obviously I don't know how to use the search function in here... cause I can't find what the bolts are that hold the front driveshaft on. Mine went awol and I haven't been able to find out what I need... Any info please?

I think he means size and thread count.

I'm pretty sure they are a metric bolt. I've never taken mine out yet though. I did search here real quick and nobody shows what the exact bolt is but metric was mentioned. It also looks like if you go to the dealer for the factory bolts they are about $8 each!!

These are special screws. At least grade 8 equivalents. Buy new ones from a dealer. This is a safety issue.

Yes they are definitely at least grade 8 equivalents. I would go to a real hardware store to get them so you can get away from the Torx head.

Yup. I believe the torx are a M8x1.25x33 bolt. I bought new from the dealer, due to time issues. I don't like the torx (or dealer price ), so I'll be looking for a high grade flange bolt 35 or 40mm long. These are available at Lowes in the States, but not here.

The hunt will continue. Thanks all.
