Freedom Diesel
Have a friend that bought a Ford from them and it was in good condition (until he got ahold of it that is). Never stopped but driven by there several times before I even saw it. Pretty good selection of older model diesels.
They're the guys I just bought my truck from.
It all began about two/three weeks ago. I found these guys, and there was one truck in particular. (It's still listed on their site @ www.gooddiesels.com , it's in the "Dodge" section and it's the brown/bronze colored '01 2500 4WD) Well, I finally bought that truck last week and I love/loved it. Man, the power, the 6spd, it was everything you wanted when you dreamed of driving the big rig when you were a kid. Anyhow, the truck is more than clean. It may even qualify as being excellent based on KelleyBlueBook standards. So, my wife wasn't too hip on the 2ndGen quad w/ the split doors and all. Coupled w/ the fact that we live in the city of Los Angeles, and she thought the 6spd would be too cumbersome. Which, she has/had a point. I was thinking more of the durability of the 6 spd, even though I don't do alot of towing. Well, to make to wrap this up we compromised and went for the set up that is in my sig. It too is listed on the site. Dan and Patrick are very friendly, and they are really trying to build a solid business. They did not give me any grief about the change of mind and direction. They want their clients to feel secure. It is my opinion that these guys are not junk dealers. But really the opposite. They're very aware of how fast news travels through circles like this one. So word of mouth is very important to them. By the way, their pricing is solid. However, it is competitive.
