Flash.....

Went in to get the ECM flash done at the dealership this morning along with the weatherstripping tsb and a problem with the intermittent wiper done. They had to order a new wiper motor...something threw a code there, and they replaced the weaterstripping on the front doors. When it came to the ECM flash, they said I already had the updated program installed in the ECM. Is this possible??? My engine numbers are exactly in the middle of the pack according to the tsb. Did they f___ up the procedure?? Or with the wide variation in milage in the 04.5's could some have updated programs and other not???? Should I take it to another dealer and have them try to flash it again?? Anyone know what gives here??

My engine number was close to the end of the list, but they reflashed for me and I saw 3mpg increase pulling a trailer the next day......should have done it sooner.

The reflash would be for all engines, not just those with poor fuel economy.

sounds fishy, another dealer may be in order to double check.
