I was wondering if anybody has tried a flowmaster two chamber exhaust on their truck? I want to get rid of the stock muffler, but not go straight pipe for noise reasons. Any other good systems out there that sound good?

 

I have one on mine and love it. Louder than stock under normal acceleration, not obnoxious on long trips, and sounds great when the truck is under hard acceleration. In addition, there's no drone that most people cry and moan about. Pics are in my photo gallery.

I put a straight pipe on a couple weeks ago, and had a drone that would run you out of the cab, but only from about 65-70 mph. I tried clamping 2x2 angle iron to the long straight pieces of the exhaust, and the drone is gone. It is a little louder than stock, but with the windows up and cruising at 70, its not too loud. It does sound nice rolling through town with the windows down though.
