Erased?? truck won't start
 

Help!! truck won't start, plugged in power pup says erased? followed instructions to recover & it does nothing. HELP!!!!

This is EXACTLY why I won't use a downloader. If something gets lost in cyberspace, you're SOL.

I think you're going to need a new PCM. Call Bullydog tomorrow, and see if they can help you recover it. So, you're saying that your "stock" program is gone from the Power Pup? Can you reload the Power Pup program?

It just says your truck is erased, says disconnect both batteries, reconnect, turn key on & press y to recover, but it does nothing.

What were you trying to do - load the stock program back, or load the performance program?

Please keep up with this thread and post an outcome!

was trying to load performance program was on the tow program at the time

Spoke to Justin at bully dog this morning, says he will overnight a programmer that is already setup in recovery mode. Said this will fix it. I'll let everyone know how this turns out.

O.K. it's fixed!!!! UPS delivered the new pup this morning, restored it & everything is fine. ( thanks Justin) just a word to the wise, don't reprogram your pup on the weekend, tech support only available M-F:(
