I have a 2006 Dodge 3500 and the question I have is where is the engine shutoff. I contacted the local Dodge dealer and they say the computer shuts it down when you turn the ignition switch off. I say it has a module of some kind which shuts the power off. If this is true I would like to know where it is located.

I have been working on a 04 for the past week with driveabilty trouble and as far as I can see the ecm on the engine shuts down the engine when the power is cut with the key. No module on this one.

this is true. The ECM has a run/start relay that kills the engine on shut down. Gone are the days of shut off module or fuel shut off solenoid.
