I have a guy that is wanting to sell my buddy a 2005 5.9 cummins engine out of a 1 ton dually. The engine can be bought for about $3500.00 I was wondering if there was way to find out if this thing could be from a stolen truck this guy says that the truck was wrecked with only 200 miles on it and he bought it to part out but it just sounds a little fishy he has no other parts left to this truck.. I would like any help at all I got all of the numbers off of the engine the other day to check and see but the local dodge dealer says they have no idea to tell it is a complete engine ecm,turbo,everything it takes to make it run...
