Engine Light - No Codes ???

usually, I get the P2609 a couple of times during the winter, but now I have my engine light on, and no codes.. I've done the key on/off/on.... routine but no codes display. I'm not sure if there's a problem or not because the truck seems to run just fine. This is the second time its happened in the last month. The light does eventually go away, but it always shows up when I first start it in the morning. I'm still thinking it could be grid heater related, but I have no proof at this point due to the lack of the p2609 code.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Thanks in advance

have you had any really cold mornings and when you went to start it mis-fired. when it mis-fires the check engine light will come on and clear after 3 normal starts after 3 normal driving periods......

It's been cold here, but not too bad - high 20's at night. The grid heater does come on. The light has gone out after about a week of being on, so I'm not going to worry about it until next time...
