When is EGR due out on the '04's? I've recently heard Jan. 1, 2004 - is that correct? If so, is this build date or order date? Just trying to figure out when I need to order a truck before... :<br>Chris

 

I think a few of us are in the same boat. I'd really love to get a 2005 next fall, but might have to speed up the buying decision to get one before the nasty EGR systems are here. <br><br>They are the pits, I have(had! ;D) one on my TDI, and they spit so much gunk back into the intake, clogging is a frequent problem and $600 cleaning bill at most dealers.

 

I am not sure if they ever decided they were going with the EGR system. Back in May it was still up in there air as to what they were going to do about it.
