In November my alternator went out, so I went to O'reillys and bought a new one. In the excitement getting it on i didn't notice that the pulley was out of alignment with the others. It sits back enough to pull the belt off two ribs on other pulleys. I finally noticed it and took it back and went to Arnolds, thinking it could be something with the O'reillys brand. But this one sits just as bad if not worse.

I am not a idiot and don't have it hooked up wrong cause there are only two bolts. Has anyone had this problem? Any Solutions?! It has been down for a week now and i miss driving it.

 

Might want to see if anyone can rebuild your OEM unit.
