You disconnected the front DS at the transfer case and tied it up? If you drive it the DS will still spin so get ready for some big problems.

He said it rides much nicer, so he must have disconnected it correctly.

I stand corrected. I just thought he only disconnected it from the transfer case. It is my understanding that the DS will still spin when the front wheels move as there is a solid connection between the front wheels and the front DS. I just can't picture the front DS spinning while tied up and not cuasing problems. Am I wrong about this, if so, sory.

I think you are correct about the front wheels.

No-Worries Mate It Just a PoorMans Way To Get Some Extended Fuel Milage.
And Yes it is just a matter of Getting the Shaft Securely UP And Out of the Way. I have It Double secured so if one system fails there is a back up.
Just until Tax return Time and then this Part will be resolved so I can use my 4-wheel drive as needed at least.
Probably going ahead and install new U- Joints at the Same Time.
Any Idea I Pricing for Quality U-Joint Replacements?

Thanks
Wes

All
here is address to another company that makes one of these kits. it's a bit cheaper. I do not have one so I can not comment on it's quality but I have read some good stuff about it and I have not found any thing bad yet. If some one has I'd like to hear it.
