Dyna trac balljoint installation problems!

Ok so Im doing upper and lower balljoints on an 05 3500 4x4. I have the new balljoints pressed in and I put the spindle on and when I torque the upper nut to 35 lbs like the directions say there is about a 1/16" gap from the top of the spindle and bottom of the balljoint and there is also some play in bottom balljoint like the spindle isnt up far enough and the bevels arent seated properly on the bottom. Everything is cleaned and there are no nicks or burrs on anything.

My question is should I torque the top more to see if it brings it up anymore( I dont think it will) and what suggestions do yall have as too why the bottom isnt tight.

Also when I got to put the bottom nut on the balljoint threads spin.

Thanks in advance.

I installed the same ball joints last year and had no problems. I would make sure that BJ's are seated all the way, which took an amazing amount of force to seat them all the way. Good luck. If it was a weekday I would also call Dynatrac and see what they would say, they are very helpfull.

Had the same issue. Talked to substrate and they gave me a solution. The top stud needs "pressed" back in. You can take it apart and use a press. Or I just took the ball joint apart on the truck and used my BJ press to push it back in. If you put grease in before installing the knuckle it can cause this. Inside the ball joint is just a heim.
