add the leveling kit and 315 bfgs plus the bad roads in the south and you will get the DW been there twice. some say the 2" lift wont cause DW bull**&

just say no to the 2" DW puck!

I'd spend $345 on a Thuren adjustable track bar before $350 on a dual steering stabilizer.

The track bar in the case of new '06's is not causing the DW. So buy a track bar and still have the DW present. Buy the stabilizer kit and fix the problem right the first time

The TSB is mainly addressing the dampner, and mine was toast after only 5000 miles....

Now, I agree the aftermarket track bar is better than stock, and maybe that should be considered an ugrade next. But I doubt it will fix the problem.

Here's the link on the the one I used http://www.superlift.com/accessories/stabilizers.asp

The old 86 chev 1 ton would get DW real bad around 45mph. If you just floored it to 55 it went away.

We put a hydro assist steering set up on it and no DW since. But, we also run 44" boggers.

I would check over every joint, steering componant, and bushing. Replace as necassary.

Good luck!

Never had it in my 06 2500...and i have been at all speeds up to near redline...and hit railroad tracks and expansion joints at an angle when turning at 55mph....still nothing...a slight jar a sway as truck corrects itself and then she is straight with no worries.

Had never heard of a newer truck doing it until you mentioned....

Mine did it badly with 285's that weren't 10 plies. I went back to 265 10plies and haven't had DW since.

i have a stock 06 (7mo old) with bfg 285 tires and i've had the DW so bad going into a curve that i actually ran cars off the road. If you experiance the DW around a curve the truck will not turn at all until it stops. One other time it started right before crossing a bridge and i almost hit the guard rail. This is the worst pile of crap i ever seen. If the tire pressure is low its very very bad, so bad that the steering wheel will lock.

Ok I went and got an allignment today and the steering feels tighter. Now after I got the 2' kit I DID NOT get new shocks, is this a big problem? I dont have money for a stabilizer kit AND the shocks. So what would yall do? Thanks again, Dave.
