Does G56 have a Torque Converter?

Is the torque converter specific to an auto tranny or do the manuals with the G56 have a TC as well?

The G56 does have a DMF, or dual mass flywheel though, which adds some slop and is prone to failure. It is used though to cut down on NHVs, and prolong bearing life in the transmission somewhat.
