Does anyone have experience with selling an engine?

As some of you may have read, I am swapping out an engine that is worn out. The wear seems to be largely concentrated in the cylinders and it may have a broken #6 ring.
The rest of the engine has about the use of a 103k engine.
In my conversations with Cummins and private engine rebuilders, its been pointed out to me that I am by no means sitting on a broken piece of scrap but in fact what I have is highly desired and marketable.
Like I say Most of the engine has about the wear of a 103000 mile engine but the cylinders are wiped clean of all cross hatch and there's heavy carbon ridge in #6.
I bought a used engine and have been buying new wear parts for it so I really don't need much at all from the first engine.
It was partially dismantled by Cummins for diagnosis but its complete as far as having all of the parts sitting here.
Its been pointed out to me that this block can be re sleeved and reused.
I don't have that desire so I bought a used engine.
The one that I am looking to sell is an '06 from a 3500 dually mega cab 4x4 with auto trans.
I would be selling it complete with the inj pump and turbo. I am retaining the ecm and because I need it and I have to swap the oil pans because the pan is creased on the engine I bought....but it would at least have a pan in place.
I will keep the fan clutch and fan but that's really an accessory anyway but can include items such as PS pump, starter, flex plate, engine wiring harness, fuel canister with plumbing and some other etc.
I have seen prices on terrible looking and high mileage engines like this all the way up to 5000 with a 14-30 day warranty, shipping costs extra, and the only guarantee is that "it runs".....Not it runs smoothly, perfectly, as it Really should or etc.
The history of mine is known and advertised. The history of some of those other examples....not so much.
What is a realistic and real world expectation for what I am offering?
Am I better off to sell as complete?
Am I better to part it out??
I have seen high mileage, been through the war short blocks for 1800 and the complete head from the same used engine listed for 1200 or so separately. That was minus inj pump I believe and no turbo or much of anything else.
I would appreciate all replies. I am Not looking to gouge anyone but would like to be paid what is fair.
I of course just want to make what I can to offset the costs a bit of replacing it.
Thanks all! And if anyone on here is interested, I will gladly ship the engine within the continental us (on your dime) or maybe even deliver it up to "x" distance from Pittsburgh, Pa (but need to be paid first and need to charge for that). Feel free to send a pm if interested.
