I have a 2004.5 2500 SWB 4x4 and it needs a new rear U-joint (one nearest diff). So I went and bought a Precision 330 (same as 295 only not the super strength version) got it home and lo and behold it is too small. Everything I have read here and on other sources (including the catalog at the parts shop) says that this is the U-joint for me, but the one on my truck has much larger bearing caps. The bearing caps on the one on my truck are 1-3/8" diameter, whereas the 330 that I just bough has 1-3/16" bearing caps. Anyone have any thoughts? The u joint on my truck looks a lot beefier than this precision 330. Anyone else have this "other size" u joint? Anyone know of the aftermarket part number for it?

 

OK I see what is wrong, I have the ones for the auto transmission, I need the manual trans ones (#351), Doh! That's what they all say...They all say doh.
