Not sure if the Megacab has the same rear spring/block setup as the regular 2500/3500, but this is a simple way to drop about 1.8" at the axle. I have done it on mine, simple and no cost, just a little labor.

Are you looking to just lower or do you want the truck level?

I dropped mine about 3.5'' in the rear so the truck would sit level. AIM Industries had to custom make lowering shackles for my mega, but they should be a standard item now. The shackles were worth about a 2.5 drop. I also removed the bottom leaf, and the overloads to gain an additonal inch. I added Air-Rite bags replace any lost load capacity, and the truck rides really good now without being too soft. If you decide to go with the shackles from AIM be sure they understand it is a Mega/Diesel or you will get shackles for a regular or quad cab which are different. Also make sure the bushings are for the large ( diesel size ) shackle bolts. I probably have the invoice at home with the correct P/N if you need it, but I'm sure if you call them and stress the things I mentioned you will be fine.

Not much louder than stock when cruising, but you can hear it when you stick your foot in it. I kept the mega only resonator, and I'm glad I did. It seems to help with the drone. I cut my exhaust pipe off just past the rear end, right before it makes the turn towards the pass. side. Exhaust goes down towards the ground and keeps the soot off the back of the truck. This also keeps a clean uncluttered look from the rear of the truck which suits my taste just fine.

I wish my truck was about an inch lower too. The front of my trailer sits higher than the rear and I have the adjustable hitch on the very lowest setting......

On the quad and regular cab trucks you can just remove the spacer from the spring pack for a 1 to 1.5 drop. The mega cab rear suspension is setup a liitle bit different.

Just stop by your local gravel company. They should be able to lower it for you

loco.breath, thanks for posting up about aim industries. I gave up looking for a shackle for our trucks. I was told it couldnt be done! I hope the shackle you got works on regular 2500's. I just ordered it.
