If anyone has read my previous posts, the rear driveshaft has been replaced, and it does it with the front DS removed. I have done many many things to try and fix this.

Here is the dealer invoice this time:
Check for vibration while driving, especially when towing a trailer. Can be felt at 20mph increases with speed and load such as pulling a hill.

Road tested vehicle with Zone Technical Rep with trailer behind truck. Felt normal resonance harmonics that is exagerated with weight behind vehicle. Condition seems worse with larger aftermarket exhaust, larger tires, and weight behind vehicle. Several vibrations noted, but Zone Tech Rep felt vibrations were normal for Common Rail Diesel with exageration due to weight, exhaust and tires. He recommended not to make repairs in attempt to correct this as he felt this ride quality is normal and can not be changed.
So now the Tech Rep is blaming this on the exhaust and the CR Diesel? BTW, my exhaust is NOT larger, just a straight pipe where the muffler used to be. I guess I'm going to play around with some stuff, like loosening all the exhaust stuff, moving it around, and retightening it. But I honestly feel that it won't change a darn thing. This is in the DRIVELINE.

My 2006 had a Chatter-Shutter when accelerating until it reached maybe 5mph then it smoothed out until it was between 60-65 mph again it would smooth out again.
My dealer simply said "this is bull---" when people buy a 40,000 truck and have to deal with this kind of crap. Insinuating that the manufacter knew they had the problem and sold them that way and then try and "escape" the responsabilty for it.
He then gave me a loaner (Neon But Oh well) , two days later he called and said the truck was ready. I went and picked the truck up with a new "shimmed driveshaft assembly " ,out of a truck in his new truck inventory and a sincere apology for the "quality" for the truck.
No Charge---this was 4 or 5 months ago and have not had a vibration since.Other than for that it has been the best of the four i have owned (except for milage). Have 27000 miles on it in proably less than 5 months
I now am almost looking forward to needing service on this truck--when it needs service it goes right back to this dealer , when i get ready for my next new truck i will give him an opprotunity to sell it to me and if he is close to the lowest bid i find he will get the sale
All this and I didn't even buy this truck from him---Imagine how he could be if someone buys the truck from him !!!.

are you sure the trailer wheels/tires arent causing the viberation?

i had a trailer tire issues once and it felt like i had a bad u-joint somewhere in the driveline. ended up being bad trailer tires/rims.

Ok i'll chime in i also have a vibration between 90, and 100k an hour and it is much worse with aload on or towing.Took it to the dealer he took it for a ride and noticed the problem. They gave me a whole new driveshaft assembly from the transfer case back and i still have the vibe no change.Next i'm going to get them to take the front driveshaft off and see if that makes a differance. It feels like something in the front to me but these vibes are hard to pinpoint. What i dont want to hear is that this is normal vibration i didnt pay that amount of money for such a piece of Cra%$%

This does it without the trailer too, just amplified with a higher load.

I learned the hard way. Don't get the Reps involved, once they make a determination, dealers can't overide their decision, even it they want to try something different, they CAN'T. Unless you seek assistance from another dealer outside the Reps area.
Upsetting, they spend millions advertising their product to acquire new buyers and can't spend a few hundred to take care of the ones who already purchased the products. IMO, Reps are over paid slugs.

Search,Lemons, for attorneys, if they except your case, doesn't cost anything. Their fees will be paid by the company if they win.
