dealer put in new software
Brought my truck in because trans wouldn't shift right. It would hesitate in an
upshift. It was holding gear too long. They "flash programmed powertrain control
module with updated software". Total price $98.00 What is this?

It is "reprogramming" the trucks computer with the latest software. There was probably a TSB for a shifting problem and that is why they flashed it. Did this fix your problem?
