cp3 exploded

Question cp3 exploded

the cp3on the 06 puked its plug and the dealer said the insides exploded or close to it. they covered it under warranty since it was replaced 6 months ago. ok so does anybody have any idea what could cause this pressure. no fueling box trucks stock

i just work em hard and put alot of miles. everyone says i should test em. heck if i tested them they would only sell one to each person cuz the truck would never break or wear out

FCA hangs open and the CP3 just keeps pumping and pumping. Pretty soon, BOOM!

Just watch the injectors and oil level to make sure it didn't crack one and start a leak.

I had a dmax pump do the same thing on a dual CP3 kit. It completely came apart inside. I've heard a valve sticks and it tries to compress the high pressure fuel again, boom! Mine made a big mess everywhere. Had fuel from the rear door to the tailgate.
