Correct torque for 48re pan bolts?

I'm going to change the fluid in the pan, as well as the filter, on the 48re in a week or two and I'm wondering what the pan bolts need to be torqued to. Anyone know?

(6) Install the remainder of the oil pan bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 13.6 N·m (125 in.lbs.).

How's that?

I never have worried about torque settings on oil pans, transmission pans, diff. covers - just snug them up.

I use a hand pump to suck about 2 gallons of oil out the dipstick hole before I drop the pan. One day I may get a deep pan with a drain plug but this is a clean way to do it for now.

Why would you change fluid without changing filter???
It takes 45 mins to drop pan and change filter.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that you don't change the filter. The suggestions are to minimize the mess of changing the filter.
