Convert auto to six speed manual on 03 cummins
How difficult would it be to chuck the auto trans and install a six speed manual on a 2wd 03 cummins? has anyone even done it? are there any shops near NE Nebraska that would do it? I appreciate any help

There is going to be some minor wiring issues but I believe it is a section that can be taken from the same year manual truck. (<<< This I am not real sure about on the 03's)
Other than that it's just getting the pedals, shifter console, etc. As far as the ECM I know you can get a Smarty and have it programmed for the manual so the ECM doesn't freak out. Not sure if there is any other way to do that.
Hopefully someone else will chime in with better info!
