Cold start problem
Cold start problem
I have 06 w/104K, it statrs hard most mornings. This is a new occurance for me, always has started quick after ready light goes out. After start runs smooth and true. Any ideas would be appreciated.
I think I know what you mean. I have an 06 as well and it is doing the same thing you described. Just as of this winter in the mornings it will just turn over with out starting. It turns over fast and just acts like its not getting fuel. In the last couple of days I figured out that if I wait for the light to go out and then give it about 5-10 extra seconds it will start perfect. Is it possible that the grid heater is taking longer than the light is telling me. Any info would be appreciated.
Joshworthy21 has described my symptoms perfectly, thankyou. Tomorrow I will try the extra wait before I try starting. Outdoor temp was about 40 degrees F when I tried starting, low overnight was 30. I do not have a block heater to my knowledge.
