Question Cold start ? battery volt meter cycles alot?

Dont know if its normal or not but on cold days when i start my truck up after it fires up my volt meter cycles up and down in the safe zone at night my lights dim with the cycle as well. I assume its the grid heater comming on and off till the truck warms up. Or do i need to look into batterys

Totally normal.

When it happened to me, I thought the alternator was going. Dropped the trailer and went to the Dodge dealer in Fargo. Would not recommend to anyone. Corwin I think.

The service guy told me I had major problems. 3 hours later, the mechanic winked and told me it was normal for dodge's due to the grid heater.

Cost me 90.00 and a lesson about dealers.
