Codes, Codes what to do???

Truck ran FLAWLESSLY for 6 months with edge chip. no codes. i only run on level 1 or 2. Of course 3 rail sensors went so i changed them and no longer run the quad rail gauge (as it was culprit). Took it to dealer for that $1400 oil leak fix because they had to pul rad and air to air etc...Then truck has 4 codes now P0088,P0113,P0193,P0237. I changed rail sensor againa nd now it runs but check engine light wont go out. I unhooked both ground cables over noght. I cycled key 80 times. Light still on. Truck runs fine (actually better than ever) but light wont go out. Whats up?

Well disconnecting batteries will not clear it. Just turning key on and off will not do anything either. Have you went through at least 4 cycles of driving the truck up to normal running temperature?? That will normally turn off the CEL light if the reason for it is no longer active. The other codes will eventually go away if not active any more also. It will just take a lot more full run cycles for that.

You can also clear the codes with some scanners or downloaders. Some Autozones will clear codes for you, but not as many as used to.

Thats the thing . my dealer says disconnecting battery or 55 key cycles gets rid of it. I can read boost via attitude and its normal.

Sallyman, I remember when I first installed my Edge I didn't fully connect the fuse tap going into the tranny fuse. I got the same codes you have now but the truck went into limp mode right away. I plugged the fuse tap back in and had to take it to a auto shop to have the codes removed.

Do you still have the install instruction? Mine required a fuse tap going to the tranny to work. What is your powersource?

What Juice/Attitude model number do you have. You can find install instructions on the Edge website. This is for the listed Juice/Attitude for 04.5-05 Dodge Cummins: http://www.edgeproducts.com/product_...manual-147.pdf

Here is the manual for Juice/Attitude that has turbo timer option. It is for 2006-2007 5.9L Cummins, I was not aware that you could get the option on the Juice for the 04.5 year Cummins.

wow thats the wrong manual. My truck is a 2004.5 and installation was WAY different. my injector connectors are simpler and smaller, my data link connector was under hood. i didnt have to rip steering column apart for turbo timer.for my trbo timer I just had to hook yellow wires to fuse tap

Look one post above the 2006 install manual and you will see the 2004.5 install manual.
