Chatter at START in 2003!!!!!!!!!!!

I am getting a chatter{clutch??}in my 2003 auto.
Slightly noticeable empty weight!!
VERY noticeable w/ a load in the bed or tongue weight!!
ESP. AT A START FROM AN INCLINE...
All this at the 5-10mph range.
I have not gotten back to the dealor, but was told from a mechanic{friend} that it feels like the clutch in the trany???

Any help is appreciated..

Is this "chatter", or more like a "shudder". Is the whole truck shaking, or are you just hearing a noise. If it is shuddering, post the word "shudder" in Search and look at the threads about that.
