changing rear diff fluid

changing rear diff fluid

ok going to change at least my rear diff fluid tomarrow what weight should be used I do not tow but thought I read where dodge had a tsb recomending people upgrade to 75 140 from 75 90 which should I use dod I use this in the front too? What does my tranny take? and no new gasket needed correct?

75-140 limited slip is what I put in the rear diff. Can't remember the tranny but it was cummins aproved got it at napa..

I've used both Amsoil MTF and Redline MTL in the tranny. No gasket required for the tranny. Nothing special required but you will need about 4.5 quarts for the transmission, and a 17mm hex to remove the fill plug.

Doesn't need to be limited slip. You've got a cummins transmission?
