Carrier Bearing

So I hit something in the road this last weekend and trashed my carrier bearing that was just over a year old. Now Im trying to get another one and its not going to well. The place I bought it from a year ago says they cant get it. I kindly explained to him that they sould me one before for 45 bucks. So I asked about U-joints and he says he cant get them either. So I explained to him that 2 weeks ago I need a u-joint foe the front axle and all you wanted to sale me was joints for the drive shafts for 13 or 14 bucks. The dealer quoted me 165 for the carrier and 76 per U-join. What the heck is going on!!!!!!!!!!!!

So now I need help getting these parts. Anyone know where I can get them online or have a part number.

I'm thinking you are talking about the support bearing in the driveshaft and not a carrier bearing in the differential?

So last night I go to the place that I called the other day because they are the best in town, and lucked out. They guy working was the guy that got my parts for my 68 mustang I restored. So he did a little digging and I told him what they yold me and he said he will have the carrier and 3 U-joints there Thursday morning. I guess the other dude just didnt want to deal with it. Saved me 285 bucks by not using the dealer.
