Can steering be made a little harder ?

Going from 2nd gen "wandering" to 3rd gen solid steering system is one of my greatest reason for liking this truck.

But I was wondering if there's anything to be done to just slightly harden the steering at high speed, maybe a double stabilizer ? Or have nut sector tightened up a little ?

Have you tried installing a steering sector brace or a steering stabilizer?

Check and make sure the ball joints and hub bearing assemblies are tight.

I have the Defiant steering box sector support and it firmed the steering up quite well. Not extreme, but noticeable. Overall, very nice.

You can firm up the front end's manners with an SSSSS, trackbar bushings, urethane swaybar mounts, decent shocks and make sure nothing else is worn out like the ball joints, steering box, etc. Beyond that, you could have the caster maxed out and set toe-in as much as possible (within spec) to increase high-speed stability.

In have no problem with loose steering, mine is perfect, no play at all, straight and solid, it's just "light" at high speed, I was trying to see if it can be "stiffened" a little

Like I said, if you want a heavier, less sensitive steering wheel at speed max both the caster & toe-in.
