A/c Hose

I am trying to replace the A/c line that goes under Air filter and behind battery. I got the hose but the problem is, How do I disconnect the line. I took off the clip holding them together and yanked and pulled on it. But It wont come apart. The new one is a male end with 3 o-rings and look like it locks into the female side some how. Its spins freely. Is there some special tool?

There are some AC lines that have very limited clearance and those will fit any and all applications.

Make sure the system has been evacuated before disconnecting the line. Won't be good if you get any in your eyes.
