Breaking in a fresh rebuild?

I have a 06 that dropped a ring in #1. Had to rebuild it and bore it 20 over. What are the proper steps to break in 5.9? I don't ever want to have to do this again. Current mods on it are headstuds, 40 HP injectors, straight piped 4 in, edge with with attitude and an intake.

Did you replace the camshaft and tappets, pushrods also? If so then run it at 1500-1800 for about 10 mins. Re adjust valves and run it. Change oil after 1000 miles and you’re good.

Only things that are original inside are the cam (polished), rods and crank (also polished). You don't suggest any loaded time to set the rings?
