I have a marine type plug I just can't figure out how to mount it to the bumper. Help!

It's the Geno's kit - came with the bracket and it mounts to bracketry above the front bumper, behind the plastic covering/facia. Took about 5 minutes to install it.

I would love to rig up an auto-disconnect plug. I know someone on here has done it.

The valence/ air dam might not be the best place if you live in snow country or do much 4x4. You'll rip it off eventually.

do you just plug in your exsisting heater plug into this one, or do you have to cut and wire this in?

Good point...I'm okay on both, just get's into the 20's-30's occasionally around here no snow. As far as 4x4, Fire trails are about as off-road she's been.

You cut the plug off the end of the original heater wire and install the plug (actually a socket) that comes with the Genos kit. Easily done with a screwdriver and a wire stripper or sharp knife. The polarity of the wires doesn't matter when you hook them up to the new plug, just make sure you have it on the right two pins per the instructions. Again, VERY easy.
