Just finished installing new/full inner/outer tie rod steering kit and wondering how good my alignment is to factory specs or if I should take it to the dealer for a computerized alignment/added peace of mind? Anyone gone through the dealership for an alignment... is the added cost worth it?

 

Bill-I went to the Dodge(Lithia motors in Grants Pass ,Oregon) dealer and they were running a "special" on alignment for$70
What a difference it made-no more wondering--Worked for me......
I`ve always been suspicious of dealerships-Maybe I just got lucky

 

I got one at my local dealer for $70 but it took two times to get it right
I also got one at my local garage $65 got it right the first time

All the machines work the same it comes down to the mechanics experience
