Ball Joints Again, but for 2wd

Alright, so I am needing to replace ball joints on my 2006 2500 2wd. I spent a good bit of time sorting through the forums on here and decided that I would go with the Dynatracs and be done with it. Only problem is that all I can find from Dynatrac is for the 4X4 which is what most of the discussions on here are about. Does anyone have any experience with the ball joints on a 2wd. I can find replacement ball joints, but was wondering if anyone had any recomendations for who makes good ball joints for the 2wd?
Thanks

You'll probably only find adjustable upper BJ's that are loose (not pre-pressed into a control arm) or you'll find a control arm BJ combo. The first way, I think you'll get a better ball joint, but it'll be more work. The second way is less work but seems a bit pricey as you replacing a control arm that doesn't really need to be. If you go with the individual that is adjustable, make sure you take it to an alignment shop that can handle them.

Oh, I went with Moog. I've read just about equal opinions for and against them. I'm easy on parts so I think I'll be OK.

I don't seem to see 2WD's wearing out the b-joints often. How many miles on your truck? And, how many miles are you getting on tires and brakes? Using it to tow heavy, or . . ? Thanks.

Looking forward to report so as to bookmark. I'll need 'em sometime.

Thanks for the info! Looks like it will be moog

Hey 1-2-3. What size are your wheels and backspacing? What size tires do you have? I am about to put the cst spindles on and am trying to figure out my wheel and tire combo. Your truck looks great!

I have 75k on mine, the ball joints are not shot, but the bottom is getting play and I will be in the front end so want to take care of it while I am in there.
