Nope! If you have to keep replacing ball joints. They will be worth it. Never have to worry about them again.

I guess Carli can't use economy of scale... gotta be pretty low production numbers on those.

They usually build per order request w/ a few in stock for someone who stops by wanting these. They have no problem selling these upper ball joints.

Sometimes you get what you pay for. If you want something that's going to last for a long time. Then someone will shell out the coin and buy a product..........

I was told 20k miles ago that my ball joints were bad by alignment shop, Dodge said they were OK, went home and greesed them all with a needle greeser and they are still fine. Called Moog,,, 1/4 inch up and down in joint is OK, nothing else.

The OEM wear spec is .090" vertical for the lower ball joints & .060" lateral on the upper ball joints... the uppers have ~1/4" of vertical play since they are basically floating king pins - the lowers carry all of the front end weight.

34k on my truck now and I am on the second set of ball joints. The first replacement did not last 1k miles. I priced out some dana ball joints through my local supply house, around 75 bucks each and gauranteed for life.
