Bad or dirty MAP sensor... rough running?

Would a bad or dirty MAP sensor cause rough running engine conditions? Anyone ever have this happen.
Thanks in advance.

I had a dirty one that threw every code none to man.. Even caused the truck to barely start. Originally I had thought the Edge was causing all the issues. So removed all the connections and cleaned and greased everything. I noticed a little mud and what appeared to be rust inside the map connections. Cleaned it out and I've never had another issue.

So your issues were just with the electrical connections and not with the sensor itself (inside manifold) being dirty?
