Axle whine....Updates please!!!!

Axle whine....Updates please!!!!

For those guys who had the axledriveshaft whine problem solved on the long wheelbase trucks, could you please post some updates??? What was the fix? Part numbers?

A new ring and pinion cured the whine about 5000 miles ago. Not sure if the cure is permanent. The truck has been in storage all winter. If I get another season of towing out of it without the noice returning I presume that it is fixed. Only time will tell.
