On your cummins, what color is your oil dipstick ?<br>On my PSD it's BLACK ! Do you know how much fun it is to read in bad light .It's really my only major gripe about the truck . Mine is a silver color. You know like most of the other ones. I think the 03 have a black tip to the dipstick. Yey you would think with a black dipstick you wouldn't be able to see the oil very well, or at least the color of the oil. You know how some of these automakers are? :<br><br>Kimrey

 

I always thought that high temp orange plastic or else a bright cadmium plated dipstick would be sooo much better myself. Never understood the dark color sticks.<br><br>Monte

 

If it bothers you that much than why dont you take some steel wool or a barillo (sp?) pad and shine it up so you can see the oil a bit easier. ;D <br><br><br>Jason
