anything i should do....
i am making a trip up to lubbock on friday and i know its cold im going up there with nothing, but an empty cattle trailer, but i am coming back with a pretty heavy load. anything i should do to make sure everything runs right since its gonna be pretty cold up there?
Anti-gel. Powerservice is what I use. Where I live in Montana, it gets COLD. For the last 7 years, I have NEVER used number 1 diesel. I always add a full bottle of the White Power Service by Diesel Kleen. The 100 gallon bottle to my 34 gallon tank. It gets well into the -20 below temp. Our coldest temp this year has been -6 below and I don't use a winter front either. Hope that is the answer to the question you were wondering.

Make sure tires have the correct pressure for the load? buy a GOOD tire gauge at least (best one you can find that doesn't need batts) and you can go a bit further and get a 12V air compressor like a Q-Max 12V for $29 at Costco. Pep Boys has them for $59. Either one is a good deal
